About This Course
DELF
DELF (Diploma of French Language Studies), is an exam that testifies of your French level. It follows the “The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages” (CEFR) which is
an international standard for describing language ability. This certification is recognized and well-known by schools and companies/recruiters.
If you doubt about taking the DELF exam, be aware that the advantage is the DELF is one of
very few exams that the result is lifelong. Thus, once you pass it, the certification will be valid forever!
Our experienced teachers will be able to train you from A1 to C2 levels.
Join our classes and be ready for one of the 3 available exam sessions in Singapore (March,
June or December).
The DELF is also available in three versions
- DELF Prim: 6 to 10 years old
- DELF Junior: 11 to 17 years old
- DELF: For adults from 18 years old onwards.
International Baccalaureate, Language B
IB Language B SL or HL are exams that our teachers are very used to teaching. The difference between language B SL and HL can be highlighted in the number of advised teaching hours, the level of competency the student is expected to have, as well as productive and interactive skills. Indeed, higher level students are asked to study two literary works written in French.
Students develop communication French skills thanks to the study of specific themes and texts.
Being a demanding exam, our team will be supporting the students through its learning, building strategies to lean on the stronger points to get the best grade possible.
I/GCSE
IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) is one of the most adopted exams by international schools. IGCSE is the perfect opportunity for higher education or professional studies in your home country or abroad. IGCSE is taken into account as a certification in most countries and is the gateway to access the best colleges and universities.
Taking French IGCSE allows the students to understand new language and culture, and earn
skills that go beyond the books.
Usually starting from grade 7 at school, the students have 4 years to prepare for the French
IGCSE. However, French IGCSE is an exam with writing, reading, listening and speaking
sections.
Therefore, our teachers are ready to help achieve the best grade possible.
SAT, TCF, A Levels, AP
Students also take less popular exams, but our teachers are experts and trained for them too. They would be supporting you for any of them to achieve top scores!
At the French Council of Singapore, French courses specifically targeting each exam are available.
